Paul’s sewing machines made by New Home Sewing Machine Co., or its antecedents
This page is ordered by age, and only includes machines
made by New Home Sewing Machine Co., or its antecedents.
A separate pictorial index includes
all the machines I've ever owned.
The founders of the New Home company had
mostly been working in central Massachusetts, in
or near the town of Orange, for many years, as
Johnson, Clark, and Co., and as the Gold Medal
Sewing Machine Co. It wasn't until they
introduced the first "New Home" model (a follow-on
to their "Home" model) that the company name
changed to New Home, in the early 1880s.
Click any image here to see its blog entry, and more pictures.
The main blog page is kept in the order
the machines joined my collection (and also has other sewing
machine related entries).
