Here's a picture of my Kreg pocket screw jig. I researched other brands,
but it was clear that everyone favored the Kreg series. This one came in
a kit along with the drill bit, a long square-end driver, and some
screws, and set me back about $40. (Any good project deserves a new tool,
right?) The screws (at least what I've found so far) are expensive --
like 10 cents *each*. But the system makes really nice joints, quickly
and easily. The more expensive jig shown in the video has some nice
features -- more widely spaced hole choices (I had to move my jig and
reclamp it in some cases), and the fancier clamping setup. But it
costs at least twice as much.
