Paul’s sewing machines made by the Wheeler & Wilson Sewing Machine Co.

This page is ordered by age, and only includes machines made by the Wheeler & Wilson Sewing Machine Co.. A separate pictorial index includes all the machines I've ever owned.

Allen Wilson is credited with inventing many ubiquitous aspects of modern sewing machines: the vibrating shuttle, the rotary bobbin, and also the familiar feed dogs that drive the cloth through most sewing machines. W&W made machines in Bridgeport, Connecticut, until evenually being purchased by Singer in 1905

The main blog page is kept in the order the machines joined my collection (and also has other sewing machine related entries).
